Okay so we have been done with our honeymoon for about a week now. I have just been too lazy to keep up with this blog. I know I need to get more excited about it. To be honest we don't have that exciting of lives yet.
DAY 1:
The last trip of our honeymoon we went to Glacier National Park. Now mind you we thought we might be able to drive high enough and close enough to see a Glacier with out having to walk a billion miles. Not the case when we got there. At the beginning we stopped at the near by KOA (yes we did lazy camping, hey I wanted to shower). We got there about 6 am because 1. we are lazy and tired of driving, 2. there was a ton of construction and 3. people driving from missoula - kalispell seriously have no clue how to drive the speed limit. Any way we made it there set up camp and we forgot the rain fly for the tent. How you may ask because we both thought the other had packed it. Ha oh well. We just hoped there would be no rain. So we fell asleep for a little nap until around 10. We hit the road again for Glacier (only 30 minutes away). The skies were blue and cloudless. Perfect whether you may say and the drive was beautiful to the mountains. We got to the entrance and stopped to have some lunch before hiking. It was okay. After this we paid to get in which was $20 and you had to pay for the 7 weeks, there was no 1 day option. Kind of lame but understandable. We drove straight to Lake McDonald. Huge beautiful lake. There were canoe and kayaking rentals, YAY. I tried to persuade him to go, he wasn't fallin for the charm. We got some ice cream and then drove up to the closest glacier to hike to. We got there and packed up for the hike. Thinking 5-8 miles not too bad. Got to the trail 10 miles. Okay still not that bad. 2 miles up, thinking what the heck this trail is going straight up! There are no flat break literally straight up. Come around a bend its like walking up narrow stairs but no stairs for footing. We give up. Yes it's sad we gave up plus there was no way we could make it with out having to make camp first. Oh well good try. Maybe we'll see a glacier in Alaska:)

P.S. It rained and our tent was wet, but not too bad for we got a tarp to cover the ten. Good thing we were at a KOA with dryers. We were able to have WARM dry bedding:)

Day two:
Decide since we paid for 7 days of Glacier we should at least go one more time. First we stopped at the Mystery House at the recommendation of a 7 yr old girl I watch at work. Probably the best suggestion this whole trip. We got there expecting something lame. Nope we were looking into exploring one of mother earths vortex's. Very cool if you haven't been to one. Here we entered a different dimension twisting gravities pull. In the house we could lean far over to the point in any normal situation we would fall. We stood at two different points of the gravitational pull and found our selves shrinking (not that i need more) and growing taller. It was very interesting. No tricks they had ligament levelers to test the accuracy of the floors to be sure they weren't tricking us. They weren't. There was a vortex that could show you your aura color mine was pink and jake and I could feel each other's aura pulsating when our hand got close. Very weird. Of course all this is received with great skepticism but it was fun.

Moving on to Glacier. First we drive up the mountain on a road called Going to the Sun Road. Thi was curvy, narrow and had construction. How they even got those vehicles up there I am still amazed. There is a sign that says only a certain width of car can go up, just to give you an idea of the narrowness of things. We decided there should be a driving test before pearling this road. We had a couple of close encounters with people driving on our side of the road. Very scary since we were on the ridge. The reason for this trip was to see the weeping wall. Which is suppose to be a wall that is constantly raining. Its like a waterfall that drips. Since it was raining this seemed ridiculous because all the walls were weeping according to Jacob. He still drove it for me. However, the view from up there is spectacular. WE did see a Glacier from far far away. But we saw it by golly. It was beautiful and worth the drive on a good day only if you can handle crazy roads.
Done with the drive we head down to check out this waterfall which is suppose to be a nice scene. It was very lacking in excitement. Tiny, minuscule compared to what we have seen before. I think it was mainly because the river was really really low. Since that was lacking we drove to a bridge in which i saw you could climb down to the river. I wanted to river explore and Jacob most "willingly" joined me:) what a good husband. I at least had fun walking near the river. After this we headed back and had a nice dinner at Chao Mambo one of our favorite places.
THE END
